This week’s Fruit

New season Clementines have arrived in the market, we have included them in both boxes, they are exceptionally sweet and juicy. 

We are excited to be able to include new season golden kiwi in both our boxes this week, Visually, you’ll see a fairly striking difference between green and golden Kiwi. The green kiwi has a fuzzy brown skin, golden kiwifruit, in contrast, has smooth, hairless skin that’s a nice golden-brown colour.

Slicing the fruit in half reveals even more differences. Green kiwifruit has green flesh with black seeds. The flesh of golden kiwifruit is a vibrant yellow colour with a smaller core and fewer seeds. Cutting in half and scooping out the flesh with a spoon is one of the easiest ways to enjoy them. 

We have the most amazing medjool dates this week. We thought it would be very difficult to top our normal Medjool dates, but these are something very special, they are exceptionally large, plump and juicy. £3.60 for 6 large dates.
