There are many villages that have been left without a good-quality greengrocer, fishmonger or bakery. There is also a definite shift towards small independents like us, as customers realise the importance of the excellent service we provide.
Village Greens fruit and veg boxes have proved extremely popular. We hand pick our fresh fruit, veg and fish from the market and have it in our shop that very morning. This time-intensive process gives our customers fruit and veg that last longer and taste far better.
Our customers also appreciate the distinct lack of plastic packaging. We use paper bags where necessary, and re-use and recycle packaging wherever possible.
The boxes are carefully planned by the Village Greens team, taking into consideration the season and how the fruit and veg will fit together to produce good family meals.
You’ll find our boxes always represent very good value for money, and we always include the ingredients for our unique “recipe of the week” – and sometimes a special complementary item too.
Each Monday we advertise the contents of our various boxes on our Facebook page, “Village Greens Charlesworth”.
Remember that you can add anything else from our wide range of products to your box. Our fresh fish is always in demand, while our delicious pots of hummus and pesto are very popular.
