These are seasonal new potatoes which are grown in San Pobla, the heart of the island’s potato growing region. Local growers have exported potatoes grown in the red clay soil to the UK since 1924.
Characterised by their fluffy flesh as well as the mild, earthy and fresh flavour. They’re packed full of vitamins and naturally fat free which makes them great for the whole family. Locally they’re simply boiled with salt, mint and butter for a simple yet delicious side.
These are extremely versatile though and can be enjoying in salads, roasted whole or they can be added to curries and stews.
